Nice little coffee shop with incredible porch seating; Crowd skews very young so that's a plus or minus depending on how you like your coffee shop. Can be a bit crowded and the unusual window on the ground is definitely unique. I really like the prices of coffee are adjusted for their smaller serving size. A $4-ish latte is nice to have outside while you decide if you want another one's Incredible service.

This is the cutest coffee spot! The drinks are delicious - they have some fun, unique ones in addition to all the staples. The decor is adorable and the outdoor seating area in the back is super cute. Most importantly, the service is fantastic! All the baristas are super friendly and helpful.

Hidden Grounds Coffee was amazing! We happened to find this place by chance as it was close to our Airbnb. Right away I enjoyed seeing the decor of the place. Then we were greeted by a friendly and helpful barista. I enjoyed the selection of drinks and pastries. After much consideration I choose a Thai Rex coffee with a cookie pastry. So good! You must visit this place! I can't wait to go back.

What a fun place we just happened to find! First of all, the line was out the door, which was a great sign. The inside was cutely decorated with cowboy and dinosaur decor. I got the Toasty Jack which was really good, but the pumpkin flavor was a little strong. All of my friends thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. I also got an Apple toaster pastry which was phenomenal! There was a lot of nice outdoor seating. The baristas were all super nice as well.

I was a bit skeptical before trying out Hidden Grounds but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and coffee. Sometimes it seems if places are too well decorated that the service or food and drinks are not the best, but they really have it all. The staff is really welcoming and happy to answer any questions you have. They make great coffee and even have some food options. Not to mention the sitting area is very cool and everywhere is picture worthy.

Yep. That's a damn good latte. I had the Marlboro Man signature which was made from organic recycled actual Marlboros harvested from last century when those were still legal. They drizzle it with leather dusting from the actual cow the whole milk comes from. What I'm saying is, gentlemen if you want to still feel like a man while drinking a latte or ladies if you want to feel an actual masculine touch for the first time in a while, stop by this cool little coffee shop on 2nd street. Oh, and... dinosaurs.

Dinosaur-themed coffee shop? Yes, please! Welcome to Hidden Grounds, a fantastic tiny coffee shop in Wilmington. It features a curated menu of coffee drinks perfect for adventure. Hot or iced, these are unique drinks. The outside space and the theme are the stars of this spot. Outdoors the lush jungle garden is worth a trip. The swing chairs and comfy seating is fantastic. We went on a very hot day and it was comfortable outside in the shade. We recommend ordering the Cold Fashioned - espresso, bitters, simple, and a coffee ice ball. They have almond and oat milk for vegans and dairy-free folk. For non-coffee drinkers they have canned water and bubbly non-alcoholic sippers. There was a short wait when we visited on a Saturday at noon, but it was worth it!!
